Why Jog-A-Thon?
Aside from supporting continued efforts to provide excellence in education through students’ year-round enrichment programs (e.g., Math and Reading curriculum, Running Club, STEM Enrichment Programs, music and drama presentations, and more!), our annual Jog-A-Thon is both fun and an opportunity for every student to get involved, to show their school spirit and pride.
Fundraising
Student sponsorship donations will begin on Monday, April 8, 2024. Packets will be sent home with your students that day with more information, and this page will be updated as well.
For anyone who would like to make a general donation to the school (e.g., a member of the Sandburg community), feel free to use our general PayPal donation page.
Spirit Days
Please note that the Tuesdays and Thursdays leading up to Jog-A-Thon are Spirit Days. Tuesdays are blue and yellow day, so wear your blue and yellow colors to show your spirit. Thursdays are themed dress-up days (TBD).
Announcements
T-shirts
5th graders will work on designs during the month of January, the winning design will be chosen in February. The winning design will be revealed in April. All students will receive a Jog-A-Thon T-shirt on the day of Jog-A-Thon.
Volunteers
Join the Jog-A-Thon Planning Committee and help support our Tigers! Whether you have a few minutes or an hour, we would love your help. If this is something that interests you, please email jogathon@sandburgfoundation.org . We start planning in December.

Waivers
We have a lot in store for you and we are looking forward to working together to make this year’s Jog-A-Thon the best one yet. We hope to have everyone participate, which is why it is important to have every student’s waiver form signed prior to Jog-A-Thon. Please visit tinyurl.com/JATwaiver2024 to complete your student’s form. If your student’s name is no longer showing in the drop down, that means we already have received a signed waiver for them.
