The Sandburg Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing additional financial support and programs to Sandburg Elementary School. The Sandburg Foundation meets monthly in the School Library, typically on the 3rd Thursday of the month following the schedule posted on the calendar – also look for FaceBook and email announcements of meeting details. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join us.

Teachers, Staff, and Volunteers, please use the form below to submit grant requests for new funds, not currently approved. Once you have completed the form it will be sent to Principal Simmons and the Foundation board for review. Requests will be considered for approvals based on several factors but not limited to the following:
- Compliance with our Mission Statement
- Is the request unique and not currently funded
- Costs involved / budget review
- Number of students benefited
- Education benefit / does it fit within the schools curriculum
- Implementation ramifications
- Urgency of request
